This service is for people who need short-term support while in hospital or after being discharged with referrals being made by NHS Highland. 

 

Hospital Befrienders will visit patients in Broadford Hospital who have limited social connections and we ask volunteers to be able to commit to two visits a month for six months. 

 

Post Discharge Befrienders  visit a person at home for a block of six weeks, making a minimum of three visits during that time. Volunteers will not become involved in personal care and domestic tasks such as cleaning.
