Befrienders Skye and Lochalsh is a volunteer befriending service available in Skye and Lochalsh run by Skye and Lochalsh Council for Voluntary Organisations and supported by Highland Hospice Helping Hands, NHS Highland and Eilean a' Cheò Council Ward.
Volunteer Befrienders provide company and friendship tailored to an individual needs The amount of time and activities undertaken will vary as each person is different however, volunteers may:

visit a person at home
-
take short car trips/outings
-
make regular telephone calls
-
help with a hobby
Please note we are currently going through some changes and reviewing our service, which means we have put a hold onto referrals and recruitment of volunteers. However, we can put referrals and new volunteers onto a waiting list.
